Sandra N. Baldonado
Sandra N. Baldonado (Sandy) was born in Shanghai, China, and grew up in Montreal, Mexico City, and Manhattan.

She received a B.A. degree in Economics, from Smith College, graduating cum laude; earned an M.A. degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University; and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Whittier College School of Law, and later becoming a Certified Family Law Specialist.

Sandy has been a buyer for Macy’s Department Stores; an economic analyst for the CIA; an aide to Lyndon B. Johnson during his term as a Senate Majority Leader; a 6th grade teacher at Vista School, in Claremont; and for the past 15 years, has practiced Family Law and Estate Planning in Claremont, serving as Judge Pro Tern in Family Law and Small Claims Court, as well as a family law court mediator in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties.

She was elected to three (3) terms as Claremont’s representative on the Board of the Three Valleys Municipal Water District, and elected in March 1999, to her first term as a city councilwoman for the city of Claremont.
